1. What Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary for gameplay:
- Player Name: The display name you choose when joining a game room (not your real name unless you choose to use it)
- Avatar Selection: The avatar you choose to represent yourself
- Game Actions: Your answers and interactions during gameplay (processed in real-time, not stored long-term)
We do NOT collect for gameplay:
- Email addresses or real names for playing games (unless voluntarily provided for support)
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Location data
- Personal photos or media
- Contact lists or social media accounts
2. How We Use Information
The information collected is used solely for:
- Displaying your chosen name and avatar during gameplay
- Calculating and displaying scores and leaderboards
- Synchronizing game state across all players in real-time
Game session data is temporary and is deleted when the game room closes.
3. Data Storage and Retention
- Session Data: Player names, avatars, and game scores exist only during active game sessions
- No Accounts: We do not require user accounts, so no persistent user data is stored
- Room Codes: Game room codes are randomly generated and expire when games end
- No Long-term Storage: We do not maintain databases of player information
4. Third-Party Services
Toyo Blitz may use:
- Hosting Services: Cloud hosting for game servers (no personal data shared beyond what's needed for gameplay)
- Website analytics (Plausible): Pages on toyo.games (including this policy) use Plausible Analytics for aggregate traffic such as page views. Plausible is privacy-focused and does not use cookies for analytics; it is not used to track gameplay or replace user accounts.
- No Ad Networks: We do not use advertising services
- No Social Media Integration: No login via social accounts
5. Payments (Stripe)
Optional purchases or support payments in Toyo Blitz are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you pay, Stripe collects and processes payment data (such as payment method, billing name, email, and transaction amount) as described in Stripe's Privacy Policy.
We do not store your full card number on our game servers. We may receive limited information from Stripe or your app store (for example, to confirm purchase status, prevent fraud, or provide support).
If you pay through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another platform, that platform's payment processor and privacy terms apply in addition to this policy.
6. Network Communication
Toyo Blitz requires internet connectivity for multiplayer functionality:
- Data transmitted includes only game-related information (names, avatars, answers, scores)
- Communication is encrypted in transit
- No personal data beyond gameplay information is transmitted
7. Children's Privacy
We take children's privacy seriously:
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
- No account creation means no personal data storage
- Player names are chosen by users and don't need to be real names
- Parents/guardians can supervise gameplay on the shared screen
8. Data Deletion
Because we minimize data collection:
- Session data is automatically deleted when games end
- No user accounts to delete
- Uninstalling the app removes all local app data
- No persistent server-side data tied to individual users

If we ever introduce features that require additional data collection, we will:

- Notify users
